The Dance USA® 2020 “American Dance Team” will be competing in the “World Dance Championships” held in Barcelona, Spain over the Easter Holiday. The “World Dance Championships” showcases amazing dance companies from over 20 countries! The “American Dance Team” was the vision of Mark Marino. Mark wanted the dancers from Dance USA® Performing Arts Championships to be given the opportunity to perform internationally and be an ambassador in dance for the United States of America. Dance USA®’s 11 appearances at the World Dance Championships have resulted in 7 World Titles! In addition the “American Dance Team” has won: Overall Choreography, Overall Modern Dance, Overall Ballet, Overall Fusion (Open), Overall Musical Theater, Overall Tap, Juror’s Award, Artistic Director Award, the Regional Award, the prized Bonci Theatre Award, 2 time winner of the UNICEF Award, and the Grishko Ballet Performance Award of Excellence.
